Research and development

Our Research and Development team is constantly striving to develop new products and solutions that can respond efficiently to the needs of our customers. Each product is tried, tested and assessed according to strict and specific quality standards in order to provide safe and guaranteed furnishings that comply with the various Italian and European regulations. The level of expertise of our R&D department has allowed us to obtain numerous certifications over the years and to develop innovative patented products.

Technologies

FAMI’s in-house design department has developed unique machinery and equipment to meet present-day market needs. It uses technological research and product analysis to design functional, appropriate and engineering solutions. In so doing, the company harnesses its many years of experience and knowledge of materials processing to develop unique manufacturing lines and machinery that produce the high quality items for which FAMI is worldwide well-known.

In the last year, Fami has installed semi-automatic warehouses with the latest generation systems to guarantee employee safety and space, time and cost optimization. Trilateral turret trucks and order pickers with driver make the supply and distribution logistics state-of-the-art.

The mission is entrusted to the Technical Department with its team of young creative talents who, through their sensitivity and creativity, use the latest 3D simulation programs. FAMI is very sensitive to the environmental impact of the manufacturing technologies. Raw materials are carefully selected and equipment is periodically updated to ensure that products comply with antipollution laws; plastic is regularly recycled and never discarded.
