Workshop roller shutter cabinets: benefits and features
Unlike traditional cabinets with hinged doors, the roller shutter cabinet has a space-saving closing/opening system: the roller shutter, in fact, slides upwards or downwards, requiring no free space at the front. The roller shutter wall unit also allows an immediate view of the contents to facilitate and speed up removing and storing work equipment. The workshop cabinet is also complete with a cylinder lock with key that ensures maximum security of the contents and access only to authorised personnel.
The wall cabinet can be used both as an accessory element of a bench with perforated panel and as a stand-alone furnishing item. In the first case, the metal wall cabinet is fixed using special brackets on the double-slotted uprights and its height can be adjusted to integrate it with other elements for organising tools. In the second case, the roller shutter cabinet is used as a wall unit that can be installed anywhere in the work area or garage with specific screws and plugs.
The roller shutter cabinets have, as standard, a rear perforated tool holder panel featuring 10x10 square holes and a 38 pitch. This particular pattern facilitates the orderly and safe arrangement of tools and utensils using the Unipok tool holder hooks.
