The unique features of Fami metal workbenches
The frame of the height-adjustable and fixed workbenches is designed to accommodate a wide range of components, such as drawers, cabinets, shelves and frames so that all the work material can be arranged in an orderly fashion. The workbench organisation can be further extended and optimised by using tool walls on which wall cabinets can be added with lift-up or shutter opening systems, accessories and tool hooks.
The combined use of these solutions allows you to quickly create highly functional, versatile and easily adjustable furnishing systems over time.
The choice of type of worktop for a Fami industrial workbench is made based on what use will be made of it. The carpenter’s workbench, for example, will be perfect with a beech multiplex worktop with a thickness of 30 or 40 mm, where bench clamps or other professional tools can be fastened. The steel worktop ,with a thickness of 2.5 mm, is suitable for the metalworking industries where oil and other chemical substances are often used. Both types of worktop can be protected with rubber-coated galvanised steel covers to prevent damage if acids and oils are used.

Both can be height-adjustable or fixed; the stability of Fami steel workbenches is guaranteed by the quality of the materials used and by in-house precision and controlled machining. The sturdy metal frame and solid worktop help to make the workbench strong and stable, so that it can be used effectively, even in more complex configurations up to 3 metres in length.
The steel bench extensions have holes set at 25 mm apart to manually adjust the height of the worktop, thus ensuring a ergonomic posture for the operator without affecting the stability or load capacity of the workbench.
A set of wheels can be added to create a mobile workstation depending on the type of height-adjustable workbench chosen.
Work chairs
The work chairs can be used in workshops, laboratories or shops, and have feet or wheels. The adjustable seat and the composition of the backrest and chair allow operators to work while maintaining an ergonomic position, as they can be adapted to each user and to the height of the industrial workstation on which they must operate.
